Community is an important value to CAWS. It is our goal to build a strong, accepting, supportive community for our members within Canada. It is also valuable to the Association to participate in and support other Williams syndrome associations worldwide.
It is important to CAWS to provide our members with the support and resources to feel empowered and live a better life.
It is crucial that CAWS remain beyond reproach. We will pursue honorable initiatives and conduct business in a way that is honest, transparent and ethical.
Respect for others is extremely important and refers to the regard and recognition of the qualities and characteristics of individual members of CAWS. These qualities include but are not limited to: cultural differences, gender differences, religious differences and sexual orientation. Equality for all members of CAWS is imperative.
